Hey all!
The only reading we had was:
PHRG- 2d-2f (p.14-21)
Purdue OWL: MLA Formatting (link in the right hand side of this blog, or copy link here: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/)
These readings will help with a more effective peer review, and they'll help with formatting when we get to it!
Also, DON'T FORGET!! To get full credit for your rough drafts, I have to have an electronic copy sent to me via email before the start of class on Tuesday. You'll also need 3 copies of your essays when you come to class, so you can participate in peer reviews. Peer review days are weighted heavier in participation points to it's REALLY important that you arrive on time with your essay copies.
If you have to miss a peer review day, look at the syllabus to see what you must do to get credit not only for an on-time rough draft, but also for partial peer-review credit. (An electronic version of the syllabus is located on this blog in the upper right-hand corner of the page.)
REMEMBER: Worry more about the content of your essay and less about formatting and grammar. I want to see that you can put together ideas and concepts before we worry about if you can format in MLA or spell everything correctly.
See you all on Tuesday!
