For the Rest of the Semester.....

Those of you who attended class today already know how the rest of the semester is going to pan out, but for those of you who missed, here it is:

11/20 Essay 4 DUE.  Remember to bring a hard copy to class and email me an electronic copy in the form of a .doc or .docx file. Points were deducted in Essay 3 for not following these guidelines.

11/25 Individual Conferences (email me/come to class on Thursday to pick a time) Those who were in class today have already chosen their conference times. Essay 4 will be handed back to you on this day, and revisions to this essay are MANDATORY. So, if you don't come to your conference, you don't receive your paper, and you receive a 0 for your revisions because you don't know what to revise (which will NOT be good for your grade). If you miss your conference, your final grade on Essay 4 will have 10 points deducted from it.  In This Conference: We'll discuss essay 4 and revisions that can be made to the essay. Please have questions and concerns over your essay(s) written down and ready for your conference, so we can address them during this time. If we have time, we can also discuss previous essays if you plan to revise them. If you DO plan to revise them, please bring your graded drafts with you to the conference.

This conference is worth double the participation points. You won't want to skip out on this.

11/27 NO CLASS- Thanksgiving

12/2 Revisions 1-3 due. These revisions arent mandatory, but if you choose to revise them, have them done by this day. The only thing that these revisions can do is IMPROVE your grade, and if you go to the Writing Center, you'll get bonus points for them!

12/4 Essay 4 FINAL due. Remember to bring a hard copy to class and email me an electronic copy in the form of a .doc or .docx file.

12/11: FINAL 8-11a. Your final will consist of a few questions over some of the selected readings we had in class (if you read them, you should be fine), basic MLA formatting, and there will also be a written portion of your exam. Please be prepared for this as it is 10% of your final grade.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
